James Anderson

Hy guys my name is Faisal and today i amtallking about the lagendry fast bowler

Looking at this 18 year old boy, no one had thought that he will take more than 900 international wickets. Today, batsmen dominate cricket, but bowlers like Anderson have maintained their fear till now. In his 21 year long international career, Anderson has been the most economical bowler, but have you ever thought how Anderson completed his journey from playing football in childhood to taking 704 wickets. How did he maintain his bowling dominance even after being embroiled in many controversies and what are the four reasons due to which Anderson became one of the best bowlers of England? Oh no Jamie Anderson What have you done? Anderson’s father was born in Lancashire in 1982. Early Life Michael Anderson was the captain of the second division team of Banley Cricket Club. Anderson’s father used to play football in summers and cricket in winters. That’s why Anderson Anderson was very fond of both sports. At one point he even worked as a gatekeeper outside England’s Banley Football Club. Since childhood, his cricketing skills were known to the entire town, due to which he was also made the cricket coordinator of his school. At the age of 7, he used to lead cricket and PE classes, in which he used to suggest such dress which the school coaches were not even aware of. Due to his ordinary physical appearance, he was often bullied, but his teachers and friends knew from childhood that he was one to watch. At the age of 20, Anderson got a chance to debut in first class cricket for Lanka Shay, due to which Anderson became the youngest player to debut for this club. In 2002, Anderson played his first first class match against Surrey, where he took five wickets. Anderson impressed everyone with his fast bowling. Not only this, in his first season itself, Anderson took 50 wickets in just 133 matches and created a stir in the entire county circuit. His swing and seam fast bowling surprised everyone. Moreover, he made headlines by dismissing the great West Indies batsman Roger Harper on the very first ball, due to which he became an important part of the Lanka Shay team. Due to his strong performance in first class cricket, Anderson finally got a call from the England team. Lovey Wapa for England, you get a big box kit and you are just pulling through I am getting an incredible feeling. On 15 December 2002, Anderson made his ODI debut against Australia’s The Rise at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, where he got his first international success in the form of Adam Gulls by giving 46 runs in 10 overs. In the seven matches of this series, Anderson took 4 wickets. Took 10 wickets at an excellent economy of 4.8 Due to his speed of 145 km per hour and ability to swing the ball, Anderson was made a part of the England team in the 2003 World Cup. He lived up to this trust very well. He took 10 wickets in five matches at an excellent average of 19, including four important wickets against Pakistan. No batsman had an answer to his fast and swinging balls in the entire tournament. On the basis of his consistent performance, Anderson got an early chance in Test cricket. In 2003, Anderson made his Test debut against Zimbabwe at Lord’s Cricket Ground. Anderson took the first wicket of his Test career by bowling Zimbabwe batsman Mark Vermin with a wonderful outswinger. By taking five wickets in the first innings of his Test career, he proved that he is a horse for a long race. On the basis of this golden start, Anderson started becoming an important part of the England team, but as happens in every fast bowler’s life, controversies also happen. Anderson could not avoid injuries much. Due to stress fracture, he could play only one match in the historic Ashes series of 2005 and was out of the remaining matches. After recovering from the injury, Anderson performed brilliantly in international cricket. In four years

,2007 to2010

Anderson took 184 wickets in Test cricket with an average of 29. Where in a Test innings of 2007 India vs England, he took the wickets of Sachin, Dravid and Ganguly. This was a big thing because he became the first bowler to do so. In the 2009 Home Ashes, Anderson was in excellent form. With his swing bowling, he took 12 wickets against Australia and helped England win the series 2-1. He played an important role in making India win the match Then came the series which brought him in the list of all time greats. In the five matches of the 2010 Ashes series, he took 24 wickets with an excellent average of 26 and an economy of less than three, due to which Anderson also became the highest wicket taker of that series. It would not be wrong to say that on the basis of his consistent performance, Anderson made England win the Ashes on Australian soil after 24 years. Where on one hand his swing was dominant, he was also not far from controversies. Perhaps that is why he was also called the Beckham of cricket. Much like Beckham, Anderson was also always in the headlines due to his looks and action. Be it that unnecessary fight with Jadeja in 2014 or the badmouthing of Michael Vaughan in 2012, he has had many incidents, the first main controversy of which happened in the 2006-7 Ashes, when he was under the influence of alcohol. Under the influence, Anderson had hit Australian youngster Michael Clarke with his pads, the reason being Clarke’s attitude bothered him.He always made me angry and we saw this fight a lot in future too. For the second time in 2012, Anderson criticized his former captain Michael Vaughan in front of the media where he said that Vaughan did not know what to talk to his players. That age captain did not give any suggestions and that is why Anderson did not like playing under him at all. This news also spread widely in the English media. Finally, in the first match of the 2014 India tour of England, Anderson repeatedly pushed Jadeja and also abused him, due to which Jadeja was furious. This matter was so serious that both the teams filed formal complaints, the hearing of which went on for several months, but due to lack of evidence and different stories, this matter was also resolved. Due to his outspoken and aggressive nature, Anderson has been in the news a lot since childhood. And this is shocking because From his early days to

his early days he was an introvert Like Beckham, he may have been embroiled in controversies but it never affected his bowling Like Beckham, he swings it like Anderson was also very famous in England Let us now talk about four reasons due to which

Reason1: Longevity

Anderson deserves to be called one of the best bowlers of England, the first reason is long wittiness There is no doubt that England plays the maximum number of test matches so naturally Anderson has also played red ball cricket for a long time but through out the career his numbers have only improved If his career is divided into three parts, till 2009 he has bowled in 44 test matches with an average of 35 and economy of 3.4 In the next 47 matches this average dropped to 27 in 2014 After 2014, Anderson was in a different race. In 97 Tests, he had an average of 22.5 with an economy of just 2.47. Generally, fast bowlers think of retirement after the age of 35, but after turning 35, Anderson took 224 wickets and he is the first pace bowler to do so. In the last decade, Anderson’s numbers are so good that out of 16 bowlers who have taken 200 wickets after 2014, only two bowlers have a better average than Anderson. One is Rabada and the other is Ashwin. It is very difficult to maintain physical fitness and mental toughness at a high level at this age, but Anderson has done it very well. The second reason is that he is an all-condition champion. Reason 2: Condition Champion In the early years, Anderson was a great bowler, but only when the conditions were in his favor. That is why he retired from cricket by the end of 2013. His away average was 27 but outside England it was 37 Over time he has improved his bowling which is clearly visible in the difference stats In the last decade Anderson’s away average is 24.1 which is not far from his home average of 21.6 Moreover since 2014 in all countries Anderson’s average has been less than 31 which before 2014 was around 35 In whole of Asia also he is the second highest non Asian wicket taker after Dale Steyn Yes Steyn did a great job with less matches plus better bowling but he had the pace which Anderson lacked This shows how he has changed his game to suit all conditions Third reason being control of the game Whenever England bowlers need runs, the captain has given the ball to Anderson Reason3: Economical Because his economy has been 2.79 in his entire career, while if we talk about the last 10 years, there have been only 16 bowlers who have taken more than 200 wickets and leaving them all behind, Anderson’s economy is the lowest and not only on home grounds, he has done this feat in every country. Despite the lack of pace in Asia, Anderson’s economy is commendable. Jimmy has given England full control of the game by taking them out of pressure in many matches with his accurate bowling, whether it is the Chennai Test match of 2021, the Train Bridge of 2013 or the Mumbai Test match of 2006 before jumping to the last reason – Last reason? Do you know that Anderson has also made records with his batting? This is about a test match played against India in 2014 where Jimmy scored 81 runs with Stuart Broad and made a wonderful partnership of 198 runs for the 10th wicket. He became the third player to score so much as an 11th batsman in a test. Coming back to the last season which is hunting in the pack, there have been many such pairs of bowlers in the cricket world who have given a tough time to their opponents, whether it was Wasim Waqar or Harbhajan and in December 2007 Anderson found his perfect partner in the form of Stuart Broad. Both the bowlers have played 130 test matches together for England and during this time together they have taken more than 100 wickets and have also taken five wicket hauls more than 70 times. This excellent pair of both bowlers has given England a tough time. He has won many important matches and that is why Anderson was one of the best fast bowlers of England. Whether it is to show aggression or to take control of the game, he has done this job very well. By playing his last match at the age of 41, Anderson has proved that age is just a number.
